Who is Alex Ivanov?
Alex is a comedy stage hypnotist, clinical hypnotherapist and author. He has lived in Ireland since 2000 and has worked with hypnosis, therapy and wellbeing for more than twenty years.
He was given his stage name in 2017 in the United States by the well-known hypnotist Don Spencer, and has performed as Alex The Great Hypnotist ever since.
He learned the craft from several leading hypnotists. His shows draw on all of it: therapy, psychology, years on stage and humour.
Off stage he works as a hypnotherapist. He founded Hypno Coding and Non Smoking Ireland, and helps people with stopping smoking, addiction, anxiety and confidence. His education also spans law, health and social care, and hospitality management.

- Nobody is talked onto the stage. Guests who would rather watch stay in their seats.

- Laughing with your guests, never at them. Alex keeps an eye on his volunteers' safety throughout the show.
